No, máme z toho všeho děsnou radost.
V květnu a sklizeň?
Náš pozemek je plný šneků, těch velkých! Abychom na ně nešlapali, sbíráme je. Je to podobné jako když sbíráte houby. Je to sranda. A tak vzniknul nápad chovat šneky. Co nevidět jim připravíme ohrádku, a bude to!

THE SNAILS DON’T BITE – SPRING HARVEST IS JUST ABOUT TO EXPLODE
My fiancé, Roberto, and me got a land, let’s say a beautiful hilly meadow with little forest – in the mountains by the Alps of Bergamo, the north of Italy. The place is beautiful... especially the view! We saw it and the vision was clear! Our family – Roberto, Luca, Klara..., lots of plants, trees and different animals around... altogether living there in a small stony-wooden cottage surrounded with the joy of the wildness – birds, deers, frogs, foxes and the songs between the leaves of trees.
Are we going to build this cottage too? Well, maybe not literally, nevertheless, we, at least, began working on our piece of the Earth’s heaven.
And what it means?
The fact is that none of us ever has planted any plant... unless maybe during the primary school years. Nowadays, we prepare the land, create terraces, reduce those grass bunches and we plant fruit trees and forest fruits plants... available for you maybe already the following yeeeaaar! We must extend the plants with the little fence to avoid animals to make them their meal... well, we keep learning every day during the procedure. But, it’s getting there. It’s better and better day by day.
Let me share this with you. It was e.g. my first time to cut grass on a bigger space where we want to build a terrace a ritualic fireplace at night time, nice deckchairs for sunbathing to enjoy the view and obviously, could we miss a nice BBQ corner for our sunset aperitive... Hey, are we “spritz” together? That’s pretty cool!
Roberto, unlike me, is very strong and he fights very well with a not accessible ground and soil.
Besides our plans with forest fruits and animals, which will hopefully graze on the meadow soon, we started harvesting in May.
Harvest in May? You crazy??
Our land is full of snails, well, those big ones! To avoid stepping on them, we started collecting them. It’s like to go and collect mushrooms but it’s funnier. And so, the idea to breed the snails came up... actually, big worms from the ground are also available for catching trouts in the river just across the street... if you like to fish!
And so, we slowly find out what kind of treasures our land has got and gives us. We’re quite excited from our others ideas that will come soon and we’re going to share them with you!
